Nothing really shocks me in life due to growing up with chronic illness. Things are tough, I know that. But when close family members get diagnosed with illness? It gets tough all over again. These past two weeks have been tough for me as three close family members have received tough health news. It doesn’t get easier when it’s not your health news, it get’s way harder. Can you imagine my surprise when the day I found out about all this health news, this book arrived in my mailbox as a surprise? Talk about how God works in mysterious ways! A true gift from above!

Like I said, this book could not have come at a better time. Even if you feel like you aren’t struggling through heartache, this is a great book to have on hand. This book is aesthetically pleasing in-itself as it has cool colors and simple, beautiful font that really match the tone of the book. The pictures make it all the better! As for the content itself, it’s perfect. Scriptures with words straight from God providing the comfort you are looking for in your time of need. I love how each author has taken the scripture and really put it into perspective in their own words. Needless to say, I will be sharing this book with my family members and friends alike. Everyone needs to be reminded of these truths every single day.
