The Craftsman by Sharon Bolton

If you’re looking for a good October Halloween read, then look no further!

Thank you St Martins Press and Minotaur Books for sending me a copy in exchange for my honest review.

Florence has worked on a serial killer case many moons ago, a case where three teenagers were found burried alive. The book starts off with her attending the funueral of the man she convicted, but was he the right guy? Since her return to the town, she has come across new evidence that leads her to believe something bigger is going on. A story that involves withces, suspense, crime, murder, and intrigue, is one that you don’t want to miss out on.

You guys, this is CREEPY. I was feeling claustrophobic just reading it! I love me some good suspense, but this one was a little tough to swallow (in a very good way). I just kept picturing how crazy the muders were and it was just so intense! I was biting my nails the whole time. I want nothing more from a book in October. It’s not something I would pick up any other time of the year just because it spooked me enough, but boy was it good. There’s a cliffhanger almost throughout the whole book and the chapters are short which keep you coming back for more. All in all, a solid read.

4/5 Stars

  1. Ok firstly, I LOVE your shirt! I’ve been seeing it all over online lately. And second, this book 🙂 I haven’t read any books before by Sharon Bolton but have been seeing so many books of her posted all over blogs and IG that I have them added to my TBR list. Great review!
