Sometimes I totally forget how I come across books. I follow so many instagram accounts, book of the month club, friend recommendations, bestsellers lists, and whatever else I can get my hands on. This is one of those books, but boy am I GLAD I came across it!
This is a story about a woman who is suffering from agoraphobia. She struggles with her medication, therapy, and drinking (surprise, hah). One day, she witnesses a murder across the street from her house and no one believes her. In fact, it’s as if that person never really existed. Strap your seatbelt because you are in for a wild ride to find out if she truly is crazy or not!
WOW. All I can say is WOW. This has become one of my all-time favorite books ever. The twists are out of this world. I screamed and threw the book a bunch of times. It totally caught me off guard. Most people have complained about the slow beginning. I would say it is a tad slow to start off with, but PLEASE stick with it. You will NOT be sorry. My mind is still blown thinking about it months later. It’s currently at my grandma’s house for her to read it otherwise I seriously would almost pick it up again to read so soon after!
